Home Inspections

What Is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is the visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a building. While an appraisal seeks to determine a home's value, a home inspection seeks to determine its condition. Both the VA and FHA highly recommend that a home be inspected before purchase.

Why Do I Need a Professional Home Inspection?

You want to make an informed buying decision based on the current condition of the house. After a professional inspection, you will have a much better understanding of the house you are about to purchase, and you will know what to expect in terms of possible repairs. Awareness of any major work that needs to be done can help you negotiate your purchase price.
