Do I Need to Be at the Inspection?

Our goal is to have an informed client. Although it is not necessary, you are more than welcome to attend the inspection. Please allow about 2–3 hours for the inspection process. Larger homes and older homes may require a bit longer.

Do I Get Some Kind of Report?

Northland Home Inspection Service provides each client with a report that we have designed exclusively for our region. After exhaustive research and development, we believe that our report is the most comprehensive and complete report available. After the inspection, we are available to answer any questions you may have.

How Much Does a Home Inspection Cost?

The fee is $350 for a single-family home up to 1500 square feet (such as,  2–4 bedrooms, a bath, and a 1- or 2-car garage). Larger homes and multi-family homes (over 1500 square feet) start at $375. The cost is dependent upon the size and age of the dwelling, and the number of outbuildings.

There is also a mileage charge of .50 per mile.

"Never base an inspection on the cheapest price. I've been inspecting property since 2005,

and whoever referred me to you knows the quality of work that I do."

I'm Selling My House. Should I Get It Inspected First?

Yes! Many home sellers have their homes professionally inspected before listing them for sale. Early detection and correction of any problems can increase a home's appeal and market value, thereby simplifying the negotiation and closing processes.

What Other Services Do You Provide?

We can also test your well water.
